Couples Therapy

Companionship is a fundamental human need, both biologically and emotionally. Relationship problems often arise because we project our expectations and demands onto our partners, idealizing them rather than seeing them for who they truly are. As a result, we feel disappointed, and relationships become strained.

We often forget to communicate with our partners, focusing only on what challenges us and neglecting the areas where we work well together. A relationship is an ongoing project that requires consistent care and effort from both partners to remain functional. It is unrealistic to expect perfection in a relationship between two unique and different individuals, making open communication the key to a healthy, balanced partnership.

Couples Therapy

Our Goal

In couples therapy, the initial goal is to shift the couple’s focus away from the dysfunctional aspects of their relationship and instead emphasize what unites them—the foundation of their connection. Over time, we aim to create a space where both partners feel safe to express their emotions, rebuild trust, and improve communication.
